Entry-level Jobs

Within two semesters of graduation? Time to begin your search! Start with ePACK.

Options for new graduates

  • Entry-level jobs
Most common opportunity for new graduates.  Employers may have formal training programs or you may learn on-the-job with colleagues in your department.
  • Rotational programs
Entry-level jobs that involve rotations through different functional areas of the business (example: 4 months in sales, 4 months in quality, 4 months in production).  Placement upon completion depends upon interest, performance, and availability.
  • Leadership development programs
Accelerated leadership track with rotations through different locations or business units (example:  6 months in Energy, 6 months in Aviation, 6 months in Healthcare).  Placement upon completion depends upon interest, performance, and availability.
  • Contract positions
Less common point of entry for new graduates, but should be a serious consideration in a challenging job market.   These are short-term positions in your field that can (in some cases) lead to permanent entry-level jobs.
  • Experienced positions
Most common for non-traditional new graduates with prior work or military experience.  As a new graduate, you will also be considered for opportunities noted above.
